Mavis & Michael's Wedding - Saturday 10th December 2011

Mavis and Michael celebrated their wedding on the foreshore at Yorkey's Knob in Cairns with 150 of their family and friends.

They had one of the largest bridal parties we've photographed, with a total of 8 bridesmaids, 8 groomsmen, a flower girl plus their son Simon as the ring bearer. It was a typical hot and humid December day, so after the ceremony the bridal party were more than happy to go down to the beach for some photo's and get their feet wet to cool down.

They wrapped up the day with their reception in North Cairns. After the speeches & a couple of songs which were sung by their guests, the DJ took over and the dancing got underway for the night!
